BioI’ll be borin’ an’ say th’ standard line: I’m Murphy MacManus, born an’ raised in Bantry, Ireland. Now I’m livin’ in England, who th’hell woulda guessed that one? Like ev’rythin’ these days the story seems t’come back t’money.
I grew up shite poor ye see, still am. When I was ‘round eleven my Ma received a letter sayin’ that I could go t’school fer free in England an’ live in a house without havin’ t’pay anythin’. There was a catch though. I couldn’t see m’family but durin’ some holidays an’ summer… and I’d hafta learn magic. Hogwarts sure as fuck isn’t yer normal school, but I wouldn’t be gettin’ any education without it, so Ma sent me packin’ without another thought.
The worst part of this whole rot is that Connor isn’t here with me. I mean, I like it here an’ all, but Connor’s my twin an’ ev’ryday I miss him like nothin’ else. Years after I left I learned that Connor received his own callin’. The poor fucker thinks he’s a saint, a literal, honest to th’Lord above saint! He hasn’t championed a cause or anythin’ …yet… but he’s gotten heaps more religious an’ self righteous lately, helpin’ out all the old people an’ even takin’ a fuckin’ vow of chastity. Who even does that anymore? He’s m’brother, bless him, but he’s gone mental. I wish I could be there an’ talk him outta this shite.
Thankfully I’ve met another pair o’twins who know what it’s like. Fred an’ George have been really great, an’ don’t make too many Irish jokes at my expense. *grins* I give the limey bastards back what they serve an’ then some. An’ I’m just one person, they need two. Ye can’t outprank a MacManus.
This is a roleplaying journal for the character of Murphy MacManus from the Boondock Saints. He is set in a completely alternate universe, and if you think this is crack, it probably is. This is all meant in fun, no copyright violation is intended and I know that was is in this journal doesn't follow BDS canon. That's why it's called an alternate universe, people.
